EmuTOS - ARAnyM version

This ROM is optimized for ARAnyM:
https://aranym.github.io/

emutos-aranym.img - Multilanguage

SPECIAL NOTE: In order to include new features, including support for the
Falcon's Truecolor modes, the size of this ROM has increased to 1024 KB.
At the time of writing, this size of ROM is supported by development
versions of ARAnyM, but not by official releases. If you are using ARAnyM
release v1.10 (or earlier), you will not be able to use this ROM. Instead
you should use the standard (non-ARAnyM) 512 KB ROM for your language, which
is available in a separate archive.

The following optional files are also supplied:
emuicon.rsc - contains additional icons for the desktop
emuicon.def - definition file for the above

Note that the emuicon.rsc file format differs from deskicon.rsc used by later
versions of the Atari TOS desktop.

The default language is English.
Other languages can be used by setting the NVRAM appropriately.

Alternatively, you can add the -k xx option on the ARAnyM command line
to force a specific language, where xx is:
ca - Catalan
cz - Czech
de - German
es - Spanish
fi - Finnish
fr - French
gr - Greek
hu - Hungarian
it - Italian
nl - Dutch
no - Norwegian
pl - Polish
ro - Romanian
ru - Russian
se - Swedish
cd - Swiss German
tr - Turkish
us - English (US)
uk - English (UK)

Note that selecting Norwegian/Swedish currently sets the language to English,
but the keyboard layout to Norwegian/Swedish.

The ARAnyM ROM features:
- optimization for 68040 CPU
- builtin MMU support for FreeMiNT (see below)
- no ACSI support
- full NatFeat support (also enabled in the standard 512 KB version)

Builtin MMU support for FreeMiNT:
To support enabling memory protection under FreeMiNT, the 68040 PMMU
must be initialised. Under old versions of EmuTOS, this was done by the
standalone program set_mmu.prg. Since EmuTOS release 0.9.11, the ARAnyM
ROM initialises the PMMU itself. If you have been using set_mmu.prg, you
can safely disable it, although it won't cause any problems if you leave
it enabled.
As of EmuTOS release 0.9.12, to cater for those who do not need PMMU
support, EmuTOS queries ARAnyM to see if enabling the PMMU is necessary.
Support for this query is currently only available in development
releases of ARAnyM; if the query fails, the PMMU tables are built.

This ROM image has been built using:
make aranym

This release has been built using Vincent Rivière's GCC 4.6.4 cross-compiler.

The source package and other binary packages are available at:

An online manual is available at the following URL:
https://emutos.github.io/manual/

The extras directory (if provided) contains:
(1) one or more alternate desktop icon sets, which you can use to replace
the builtin ones. You can use a standard resource editor to see what
    the replacement icons look like.
To use a replacement set, move or rename the existing emuicon.rsc &
emuicon.def files in the root directory, then copy the files containing
the desired icons to the root, and rename them to emuicon.rsc/emuicon.def.
(2) a sample mouse cursor set in a resource (emucurs.rsc/emucurs.def). This
set is the same as the builtin ones, but you can use it as a basis to
    create your own mouse cursors.
To use a replacement set, copy the files containing the desired mouse
cursors to the root, and rename them to emucurs.rsc/emucurs.def.
For further information on the above, see doc/emudesk.txt.
